Mangerate

Recipe manager for iPhone & iPad

Looking for a recipe app without a subscription?

Recipes are not a streaming service. You shouldn't need another monthly or annual payment just to build a cookbook you love.

Mangerate is a full-featured recipe manager for iPhone and iPad. Save recipes from websites, Instagram and TikTok videos, handwritten cards and cookbooks. Organize them, share them, and cook from them—with a one-time Pro upgrade, not a recurring subscription.

All the ways you find recipes. One place to keep them.

A great recipe manager should do more than save links. It should help you capture the recipes you actually discover—wherever you find them—and turn them into a useful personal cookbook.

Instagram & TikTok videos

Import recipes from social videos. Mangerate can examine what's visible in video frames, including on-screen ingredient quantities—not just the caption or spoken narration.

Handwritten recipes & cookbooks

Photograph a handwritten family recipe card or a printed cookbook page and turn it into an editable recipe you can save and cook.

Recipe websites

Bring recipes from food blogs and recipe sites into your collection, with ingredients and instructions organized for cooking rather than browsing.

Recipes you already own

Bring existing recipe collections into Mangerate from apps including Paprika, Mela and Recipe Keeper, instead of rebuilding your cookbook from scratch.

Not just a recipe saver. A complete recipe manager.

Once a recipe is in Mangerate, you can do something with it. Build collections, find favorites, make adjustments, share with family, and use your recipes in the kitchen.

Smart imports, including nutrition and language

Mangerate preserves nutritional information when it's included in an imported website recipe. For certain scanned recipes without nutrition data, it can also estimate nutritional values from the ingredients.

And when you import an Instagram or TikTok recipe, Mangerate can present the imported recipe in the language you're using in the app—even if the original video is in another language.

The interface is available in seven languages: English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, Dutch and Brazilian Portuguese. You can also keep recipes written in different languages together in the same collection.

Why pay a subscription for your personal cookbook?

One purchase. No monthly bills. No annual renewals.

Some recipe apps charge recurring fees for advanced importing, organizing and cooking tools. Mangerate takes a different approach: start with the free app, then unlock additional capabilities with a one-time upgrade.

It's a powerful recipe manager you can keep using without having to decide every year whether your cookbook is worth another subscription payment.

Does no subscription mean fewer features?

Not with Mangerate. You don't have to choose between avoiding recurring charges and having modern recipe tools. Social video imports, handwritten recipe scanning, shared collections, iCloud synchronization, grocery lists and iPad Cooking Mode are all part of the Mangerate experience, subject to the app's free and paid feature limits.

Whether you're collecting family recipes, saving weeknight dinners from Instagram, or building a cookbook across multiple Apple devices, Mangerate is designed to grow with your collection.

Try Mangerate and decide for yourself

No subscription. No recurring fees. Just your recipes, organized.
